GET /catalog-v2.json returns an Ed25519-signed envelope. Schema remains 1. Verify the signature over the exact decoded payload before using metadata. Products include edition ID, native target, version, requirements, immutable ZIP size and SHA-256, and every contained file hash.
GET /catalog.json is a compatibility feed for earlier connectors. It omits ambiguous and customized editions that an older connector cannot select safely. It still supplies the connector upgrade.
Install Built Not Begged Updates 2026.10.12.001 once and activate it. Open Settings → Built Not Begged Updates to check the catalog, then use Dashboard → Updates. WordPress automatic updates follow each administrator’s selected settings.
Each enrolled plugin/theme has an exact Update URI: https://updates.builtnotbegged.com/products/PRODUCT-ID header. Edition IDs prevent customized plugins that share a filename from replacing each other. Update headers alone do not install the shared connector.

Complete owner-approved packages require source, license, exact-byte scans, native WordPress and browser receipts. An offline operator signs an approved roster with a higher sequence, deploys immutable packages first, and replaces both catalogs last. A source PR is not a released download. Changed ZIP bytes require a new calendar version; historical packages remain unchanged.
There is no public upload, write or signing endpoint. Private channels require separately provisioned product-scoped entitlements and a current connector. Production private channels remain closed; paid checkout, key issuance and paid fulfillment have not yet been configured or verified. Free plugins do not need a license purchase.
Versions use YYYY.M.DD.XXX in America/Chicago. Protocol schema and catalog sequence are separate. Hosted on Net30Hosting, independently of Ryzen.
